Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
How can I show the grade in a quiz after it has closed, but not allow the students to go back over and look at the quiz questions and their answers? It takes me a long time to come up with good final exam questions, and I do not want them out in the wild (students must take their final exams in a proctored testing center, so they can't capture them there). A student who wants to go over their final exam can set up an appointment with me, and we will go over it together in my office, so a student who wants feedback can get it.
Right now the exam is muted so students can't see anything, but I know I have to unmute it so they can see their final grade. I am waiting on doing that until I can figure out how to block access to the whole quiz. Thanks for your help.
@susanjaw , go into your quiz and uncheck the box that allows students to see their quiz responses. This will make it so students can see their grade, but that’s it. Nothing else. You can then unmute the quiz and you’re good to go.
For more info on quiz settings, see the following document - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-3313-quiz-settings-to-maximize-security
If you go directly to the quiz that you don't want the students to be able to see, there is a box that says students can see the quiz responses.
