I have 5 groups in my class, and each needs to turn in one project together.  How can I give each separate group a place to turn in their project and then grade it once for all members of the group to receive credit?

Hi Rachel,

You want to create a group set in the People area of your course and add your students to the individual groups.  Then create the assignment and in settings make it a group assignment, specifying the group set you want the assignment to key off of.  All students in the group will get the same grade if you then grade any submission made by members of that group.  For more information please try to search here in the community on "Group Assignment."
