[ARCHIVED] Hide student names- even in email client?

HI:

We can use the navigation tool to hide the people tab in the course, so students can't see each other, but they can go into the inbox and use the send drop down to see a list of all students. We need to be bale to turn this off at a course level. It doesn't seem to be possible. Is there an admin tool I'm missing?

Seems to be a Canvas issue.

Yes we are using Catalog for Executive Education and can't have our clients enrolled in certain classes seeing who else is in the course or emailing them. I guess it is actually a Canvas course issue but wnated to see if anyone in this group had the same problem or a solution..
