Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
I am trying to use the new quizzes format but I can not seem to be able to import my NGSS outcomes or Test Banks over from the older versions of quizzes. I like the features of the new format but I have already put together a lot of banks that are already tied to standards and outcomes. I have not found a person that knows the easy way to import them. Thanks for your time.
Hello @larsonc ! I'm sorry that it's taken so long for anyone to answer your question. Did you find the answer? This document might help with moving a test from the Classic Quizzes to New Quizzes: How do I migrate a Canvas quiz to New Quizzes?
Please let us know if this did or didn't answer your question. Thanks!
To move your test banks into New Quizzes:
1) You have to move each bank into a Quiz in Classic Quizzes
2) You have to export them one at a time.
3) Then you import them one at a time in New Quizzes
4) They will only import as quizzes (you cannot import test bank to test bank--I even asked about custom programming for this because I have so many--Canvas did not recommend it so lets hope we see this feature soon)
5) Then you have to click on each question in every quiz with the pencil and click on import to test bank
The test banks are not course-specific anymore--they are instructor-specific.
Hope that helps
I noticed yesterday, th and ere is an Import Button in New Quizzes. The only problem is that it has to be a newer version.
