Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
As an adjunct instructor at multiple schools it would be great to have a way to move our rubrics. It seems we have to do the same work over and over again (mindlessly creating rubrics for multiple schools again and again) for each school. It would be nice if the online resources we are expected to use were more accommodating...
Does anyone have a shortcut for moving their rubrics from one school to another?
Thanks,
MS

Hello @MatSwanson ...
I think I have a couple possible solutions for you.
I hope either of these options will work for you. Sing out if you have any other questions about this...thanks! Take care, stay safe, and be well.

Thank you so much, I hope this works!
Brilliant! I was thinking of something perhaps related:
1) Begin with a 'real' Canvas course or one created for the purpose of sharing out rubrics.
2) Share a course asset with an associated rubric (such as an assignment) to the Canvas Commons
3) In principle, when a person copies/download that assignment into a course they will also be carrying the associated rubric over.
To scale this workflow up, possibly create a dummy course to hold a module full of toy assignments and associated real rubrics in order to share the module via the Commons.
The course export and import procedure seems much more straightforward, however!
Thank you for sharing that tip.
The export/import was perfect, thank you so much!
