[ARCHIVED] Grading according to submission date and time

I couldn't seem to find an existing discussion on this issue, so here goes...

Is there any way I can grade submissions according to the order in which they were submitted (i.e., date and time). This isn't really a big issue for me, but I've always wondered if I could do this.

Hi  @jflores26  - Never let it be said that you don't learn something every day, because I learned something, as well, that I admit I was not aware existed!  You indeed CAN do this from the options menu within SpeedGrader. Details are here: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13084-415255026  I just tried this on a sample course site that I had with student submissions, and indeed after picking the option to sort by the date they submitted the assignment, the SpeedGrader drop-down menu at the upper-right order the student names by submission date and time (a 1:43 PM submission was before a 1:46 PM submission for something done yesterday.)

So indeed, this IS possible.  (And thank you for the question...since I learned something too!)
