[ARCHIVED] Experience using Canvas Polls app

Hello everyone!

We are looking to use the Canvas Polls app in a large class (200+ students) assuming that most students have an iOS or Android phone. Do you have any experience in using the app? Successes? Caveats?

Hi,  @jfahs . For me, the biggest problem with the app is that it is a dead end. There is no connection to Canvas: The app can't write to the grade book, can't draw questions from question banks in Canvas, and has no desktop client. I would love to see Polls connected back to Canvas. That would be awesome.

Until then, I will keep using Socrative.
