Tried to link to external app and put in a bad url. Now I get error message "couldn't find valid settings for this link" and can't get to the assignment to edit and take out the link. Any advice?

Thank you for inquiring so quickly.

I actually JUST found a way.

If you click on edit on the far right and then click "more" it takes you

back to the page. I had always thought you could only change the name from

there.

I was so not wanting to re-do all of the assignment instructions.

I wish Canvas would talk to Google (but I'm guessing they are being

difficult about it since they want everyone to use their inferior Google

Classroom:)

Thanks, again,

Laura

  1. Go to the "Assignment" page (not the assignment itself)
  2. Locate the assignment on the list, click on the three vertical dots and choose Edit.
  3. Bottom left of the popup screen, and there's a More Options button. Click on it, and it will take you to the assignment editor page.
  4. Remove the fault link.

I hope this helps.

Have a pandaful day!
