How do you edit a course name?

Hi  @sarah_brown  and welcome to the Canvas Community. If you're a teacher on the course, you should be able to rename it by going into the course settings as described here: How do I use course settings? 

However some schools/colleges lock the permissions to prevent teachers from changing the name of a course after it's been created. If you don't see the option to change the course name then you will need to contact your local Canvas administrator and ask them to make the change for you.
