[ARCHIVED] Doc Viewer Not Working for PDFs

1 - My students are using the Canvas app. I am having students upload their google documents as a PDF to the assignments. But when I open speed grader, it is not providing me with the annotation tools on my computer or through the teacher app. Suggestions on how to fix this? The annotation tools appear if it is a pdf I have given the students to complete and they re upload it - just not when they submit a pdf of their google doc.

Are the students actually saving the file as a .pdf file, then uploading the file, or are they linking to the file in Google?

They were saving and uploading. But I finally figured it out after hours of googling - there is a glitch if you select peer review for the assignment where the tools will not open up for us. And both assignments I had peer review selected since they were essays.
