• Hello, I'm new to Canvas and I teach Study Skills .  I have 2 sections for 7th and 8th grade and both sections are published.  I never really had to use it because everything was done in class.  However, I'm having a hard time adding assignments and allowing my students to see the assignments.  I'm just confused.

How do I create an assignment? 

What is the difference between assignment due dates and availability dates? 

There's so much more you can do with assignments as you grow into Canvas. Don't be afraid to try out Modules to organize your resources. I've seen Learning Centers use modules to organize tools, resources, assignments into categories.
