[ARCHIVED] Deleting an assignment for just 1 class within a course

Hi Team Canvas,

Situation: One of my classes within a course did not get to the assignment that the other 2 classes did.  Is there a way for me to delete the assignment for just that class?

You can't delete it but there are two options:

1. You can simply "excuse" the assignment in the gradebook by putting an EX in the grade cell for each student in that class.

2.  (Ff you have sections) You can edit the assignment and change the Assign area to assign the assignment to just the sections or classes that completed the assignment.  This will effectively "excuse" the students in the non-assigned class from the assignment.
