I'm deciding if to upload video files.  Each is 1 GB.  What's the standard default volume per course in Canvas?

Hi Doug,

Per the Canvas Guide, video and audio uploads to Canvas through the media tool can be up to 500 MB in size. (https://community.canvaslms.com/message/153294-what-is-the-mb-limit-of-videos-i-can-upload )

If you have videos that are large in size I would recommend using a service like YouTube or any other video service you have available to you and upload the videos there and then link to them from within the course.

Google Drive is another great way to share those videos! I do that frequently as students do not have access to YouTube while on campus.
