I know some others must have asked this. How do I add the information I have uploaded in one shell to others. I am teaching different sections of the same course. Thanks

Hi there, @markowitzh ...
There are a couple ways that you can do this:
- Use the Course Import Tool. When you follow these directions, you'll want to be logged into the course where the content will be going into...not where the content currently lives...as you'll be selecting the course where the content lives from the course where you want the content to be copied/imported into.
- How do I copy content from another Canvas course using the Course Import tool? (this is to copy/import an entire course)
- How do I select specific content as part of a course import? (this is for only parts of your course)
- If you have the relatively new "Direct Share" option turned on within your course(s) ... which you may need to ask your school's Canvas administrator about ... you can copy individual items from one course to another using these Guides:
- How do I use Direct Share to copy a page to another course?
- How do I use Direct Share to copy an announcement to another course?
- How do I use Direct Share to copy an assignment to another course?
- How do I use Direct Share to copy a discussion to another course?
- How do I use Direct Share to copy a quiz to another course?
- How do I use Direct Share to copy a quiz to another course in New Quizzes?
I hope these resources will be of help to you, Harvey. Please let Community members know if you have any questions about this information. Take care...stay safe...be well. Happy 4th!
