[ARCHIVED] Checking average rubric values?

I'm an instructor who uses Canvas rubrics with multiple categories to grade assignments. I'd like to tell students with certainty, and as a class, the categories for which I most commonly deducted points.

So, for instance, rather than saying "the class average was 85%" for an assignment, I'd like to be able to say "the class average for X rubric category was 70% and the class average was Y rubric category was 50%"—so that I can focus more on Y category for future assignments, and encourage students to do the same.

Anyone know of a way to do this in Canvas?

I have no answers for you.  But I would love to hear if there are any.  In using rubrics and standards to grade and design my class, it is so much more useful to me to know how students are doing on each standard than how they did on a quiz or assignment.

Have you tried using Outcomes in your Rubric, the use the Learning Mastery gradebook view to find results for each outcome?

Might be a bit funky, but I think it could work.
