I'm having a major panic at the start of our university year
I have been using a tool called Xerte to produce learning objects that I have been importing to Canvas files. A bit like Captivate or similar, Xerte produces self-contained learning objects.
Up until recently I have been able to unzip these onto a Canvas course files area and then link to the index.htm of the bundled package. This has worked without incident for all the time I've worked with Canvas.
Recently these files have stopped working - and I'm getting errors (when looking at Chrome Dev tools)
e.g.:
"has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."
I've been in touch with support who have told me that they don't support this type of usage..(thanks!)
Any insight/ideas gratefully received
Rich
