[ARCHIVED] Cancellation of Community Account

I do not see any links to an email of sorts for cancelling accounts, and im not sure why it is so difficult to just get an agent to help with this. I need an email, or if someone can show me a guide on how to do it on my end would be great. I was using Canvas for an internship but no longer will be in the internship so i'll deactivate this account.

How do I close my Community account?

You can close your account and remove your personal information from the Canvas Community. After you close your account, you cannot re-open it or reclaim your user name. If you later decide to re-join the community, you must re-register and start from scratch.

1. Click your Profile icon.
2. Click the My settings link.
3. Click the Close Account tab.
4. Click the Close Account button.

Note: Closing your account will immediately log you out of the Canvas Community.
