[ARCHIVED] Can't delete chat messages

It just came to my attention that right now there is no way to delete chat messages in Canvas. We had a situation where a student posted private/confidential information in a chat session with an Instructor and since we can't delete it we are now forced to hide the Chat tool in this course. This was upsetting and disappointing to the Instructor because she and her online students had been greatly utilizing this tool as a means of quick and easy communication.
To help make Chat more functional (and safe) for our Instructors and Students please consider up voting this feature idea - !
