I’m an elementary resource teacher. I have students grouped by skill—some across grade levels. I can’t see a hierarchical view of what I’ve done, so I’m not sure I can even do what I want.
Here’s what’s in my head:
What I see:
Mod: All Math
Sections: Math1, Math 2, Math 3 (Each section containing its own assign, quiz, discuss, etc)
Mod: All Reading
Sections: Reading 1, Reading 2, Reading 3, Reading Comprehension
Etc.
What I want my students to see:
Mod: All Math
Section: Math 2 (for that student-I understand how to put them into sections.)
Mod: All Reading
Section: Reading 1, Reading Comprehension (for that student).
Then, my special ed students are not overwhelmed by seeing too much content or picking through all of the sections to find their work.
Hope this makes sense. Please let me know if there is an easier way to do this-perhaps I should use groups?
