You can copy a module from one course to another and then delete it from the first course, but there is not a provision for moving between courses.
There are a couple of ways that you can do this. I use the first way.
- Go to the destination course and then import the content from the source course. See How do I copy content from another Canvas course using the Course Import tool? Be sure to do a selective copy and select the module that you want to copy. Selecting a module also copies the content within that module.
- Share the module to commons from the source course and then import from commons in the destination. See How do I share a resource to Commons? and How do I import and view a Commons resource in Canvas? Commons must be enabled by your institution for this to be available.
There is something called Direct Share that allows you to send content between courses. This can be an announcement, assignment, content page, discussion, or quiz, but other types of module items and the modules themselves are not supported. There is a feature idea open to allow direct sharing of modules: https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/15777-direct-share-of-modules
