Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
How do I change a LOCK DATE? I am trying to extend deadlines and keep getting an error message that it cannot be beyond the lock date....

Hi, @downeyrv Welcome to the Canvas Community! The lock date is the "Available until" date, after which students can no longer submit to an assignment; the due date must occur before that date. Please refer to https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10327-what-is-the-difference-between-assignment-due-dates-a... for details.

It sure does, Renee. You're welcome.
My college copied over an upcoming 8 week mini-term course for me from Blackboard into Canvas.
It appears with my exams, etc. and the old dates. I've been using Canvas for a semester and a half, so I know how to change Available dates, Due Dates, etc.
I've changed the Available Date, Due Date, etc. and then I receive an error message that says, "You cannot change the dates past the due dates." (The old 2022 dates are there.) I keep trying to input 2023 dates, Save it and it won't hold. I am frustrated. What can I do to change the dates from 2022 to 2023?
