Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
Is there any info on when this might be available in the beta or test environments? We are really keen to test and feedback but we are uncomfortable with it being live in production as it is not quite ready for our staff to start using, so I think we will need to turn it off again.
We would love a way to be able to test without it being live to everyone - either in test/beta or by being able to restrict by subaccount.
Is there any info on if this is planned, or when it might be possible? Thank you!

Hi, Natalie,
Just to update this question thread. New Quizzes is supported in the beta environment with a few limitations as noted here: New Quizzes FAQ
Thanks!

Hi @natalie_norton1 ,
Right now there is no plan to make Quizzes.Next LTI available in test or beta environments.
Currently, there is a feature flag in Canvas that controls access to Quizzes.Next LTI at the root account, sub account, and course levels. This should allow your team to test the tool without the general staff being able to access it.

Thanks @kdougherty1 - feature flag is just what we needed!
We are part of the Quizzes LTI beta, and I am not seeing the feature flag
that you describe at any level - account, sub-account or course. Can you
provide more information on this, please? We really need the flag.

Wouldn't an Instructure CSM have to do this? We have a separate cloud instance of Canvas as a sandbox/playground that is not related to the beta or test environment and she had to turn this on for us. Our root admin didn't have this option purpotedly.
I think this is relatively new (before our CSM had to turn it on for us). Now we have 'Quizzes.next' listed under admin > account settings > feature options > course and it has an off / allow / on option. Once 'allow' is selected you can turn it on in other places. Hope that helps
Hi @lekern ,
The feature flag is very new and is only viewable after your CSM has coordinated some internal work for your account. Once this work has been completed, account admins will be able to see the feature flag "Quizzes.Next" among the options.

Hello,
We have access to Quizzes.next beta in our test/lab environment, but it is not a feature option in our instance. Can you confirm that this beta version is indeed the same version that has been around for a while?
Also, is there any progress with the release date for the live version? Supposedly, this was slated for early 2018.
Thanks!
Hi @ryan_peters ,
The access in your test/lab environment is the result of an error we will address soon. The linked assessments from Quizzes.Next will be the same as in your prod environment. Any edits or changes will take place as though you were in prod, possibly spoiling those assessments.
No release date has been set. When that happens, a blog post will be shared with this group with the announcement.
