I wasn't sure how to appropriately label my question as it yields better to explanation.  

Is a student able to see their attendance report on the Canvas mobile app?

Good question. Yes, your students should be able to view these reports through the app. The process to find where is a little tricky. The student will need to go to the assignment in the course and access it through there by tapping "Launch External Tool" in the submissions tab. I included some screenshots below:
