[ARCHIVED] Announcements not being emailed anymore

Hello,

In the past few days, Canvas announcements have stopped showing up in my Gmail inbox. I have checked the Notification Preferences settings and looked through my spam and trashed folders, but they still are not showing up. Due to this I missed one or two important announcements before even realizing they weren't being emailed anymore. How can I fix this problem?

Canvas notifications have taken a good hit and some of them are being delayed because of the large amount of traffic. Have you tried the Canvas Mobile App? You can set up push notifications within the app and get notifications directly in the app, which are more reliable and will help you get notifications more timely.
