[ARCHIVED] Admin Account

I am new to Canvas and created a new Teacher free account and able to login to the  https://canvas.instructure.com 

(as far as this account concerned, this is not associated to any other accounts)

I believe this is the super account and I am the Root user, but i don't see "Admin" option.  Just wondering how i can be a Admin user?

The simple answer is that there is no Admin level or role with a Free-for-Teachers account. Essentially, Canvas Support is your Admin.  This document gives a nice overview and links to additional resources https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-18575-do-you-need-a-free-classroom

Thanks for the quick response. It clarified.

And I started looking for the Canvas Paid options and understood that we need to become a Canvas Customer for Administration, SIS integration, etc. needs.

Also some API interfaces like SIS Imports only available or activated using the Admin. Is my understanding correct? Thanks again!
