Your post is exactly the title of a lesson in the Canvas Student Guide, which is part of the Canvas LMS guides. Normally, I would just provide a link directly to that page, but since you have already have the exact title, it suggests that you've either found that page and it didn't help or are tasked with creating a profile picture or finding out how to create a profile picture as part of an classroom assignment. Many faculty ask students to put a real picture of themselves in Canvas.
If you are looking for the page, there is a link to Guides at the top banner of this site.
If you are having trouble getting the instructions on that page to work, then please clarify your question so we know what you're trying to accomplish. The most common issue people have is related to the last bullet point in the notes section (the part with the blue background) at the top. The other issue is that not every school has profiles enabled and some schools have it locked down so that students cannot upload their own photos, but use the official school photo (this is more common in K12 than higher education). Regardless, your question doesn't provide enough information to help you beyond what is on that page.
