[ARCHIVED] Adding Assignments to Calendar

In my calendar, when I hit the "plus sign" or add button,  there is only a tab for events.  How do I add a tab for assignments?

This is actually done with the Due Date from the Assignments Tool in the actual course.  You can also do it from the Calendar:

Hi,  @111567  Welcome to the Canvas Community! Robbie has given you great information. On the off chance that you're a student, students cannot create assignments on a course calendar. Students can create events and to-do items on their personal calendars, as outlined in these resources:

Also, back to the possibility that you are a teacher: if you still don't see the interface depicted in How do I add an assignment from the Calendar? , first click on the course that you want to work in (in the right panel), as you'll see inhttps://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12911-415254669  You should then be able to toggle between Event and Assignment in the modal that pops up after you click on the + sign.
