How do I add audio to my questions banks or test?

Hello! Great question and this is a great feature for students in Canvas. Within a question in Quizzes you can add video or audio in the Rich Content Editor. So you will need to go in, like you would to edit a specific question, and that will open up the rich content editor. I have included information below for how to do this. How do I upload a video using the Rich Content Editor as an instructor? (Works for audio as well, if you have it pre-recorded.)

Thanks I talked to Canvas earlier and they gave me a very easy way. If you need it let know and I will send something. I am not on my computer now. Thanks for the quick response.

This works for me: 1. Go to test banks, select question to insert audio, 2. select play button icon from tools at the top (two to the right of Vimeo), 3. choose record media or upload media. I use upload media since mine is already recorded. I put the files I am going to use on my desktop to find them easier when I download them. 4. select your file, click Choose, and update your question and your audio file is added to your question.

I tried this on a sample test yesterday with one of my student and he was able to take the quiz from Canvas quizzes. I hope this is easier for you to use. I teach a Music Appreciation class and was having a difficult time finding a way to test on line, This will work for me. Thank you for you quick response.
