Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
I would like to be able to use the free home page template, but can not download the adapting to online in a pinch link. Can someone please help? Thank you.

Thanks, @jpacis1 , for specifying the location. I clicked on the link and the .imscc file downloaded immediately. Have you checked the location on your device where downloads normally wind up?
In any event, I went ahead and attached the .imscc file I just download to your prompt at the top of this page. How do I import a Canvas course export package? takes you to the next step.
Hope this helps!
Hi, @jpacis1 Welcome to the Canvas Community! Is this something that is being provided to instructors by your school, or perhaps something you found in Canvas Commons? Could you provide us more information about how you learned about this so we can help you find it and download it, or get you the right contact information for it?
Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply. It is found on the community canvas page. It's labeled as 2020 Course Design Essentials.

Unfortunately, it is still not working. I followed all of the directions, but I can not save the file package in order to be able to use it.
@jpacis1 , unfortunately, I am not able to replicate what you've described; I downloaded the .imscc export package (for the entire course, not just the home page) and successfully uploaded it to a course using the instructions in How do I import a Canvas course export package? It took under a minute for the entire course to import successfully.
I've attached an additional .imscc package to the prompt, this one for the page itself.
Are you able to try this using a different device? If not, you will need to submit a ticket to Canvas Support or contact your school eLearning department to get additional assistance.
Thanks for the attachment. It opened that way. Before, it kept saying I did not have the correct app to open it.
