Hello, I have a student who needs an accommodation to turn in discussion postings after the standard due date without a late penalty. Can I accomplish this in the Assign area by adding the student and giving her a different due date? Or will this change the due date for everyone?

Basically, what you suggested is correct; great job.

Just make sure that you don't remove the "everyone/everyone else" due date/entry. Just click on the + to add a new box to enter the student's name and new dates for that student. You should be good then!
