[ARCHIVED] [ARCHIVED] How do I know when a student resubmits an assignment if original submission was late?

In the old Canvas system, resubmissions were peach. In the new system, they are green. However, if a student turned in the original submission late, it shows up blue in the gradebook. After reaching out to the help desk, I understand that the color will not change to green if it was originally blue. This is a problem, because I won't know when a student resubmits an assignment. They told me that blue always takes precedence over green. Is there a way to change this setting that I am not aware of? Thanks in advance.

@mmohle , greetings! The only way that I know of to tell if a student resubmits an assignment that was late is if it shows up in my To Do list and then I click on it and go to Speedgrader - which I can then look and tell. Otherwise, similar to what you've found, I don't know how to make the colors change.
