The communication competency was addressed during Nursing School while completing the photo voice assignment. This assignment took the artwork and was able to address the underlying meaning. The competency of communication addresses nonverbal, verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. I believe that this project addresses communication for nurses to be able to understand each patient if they may not be able to verbally communicate with you it is important to understand everyone communicates differently and being able to address their communication skills is important.
