In this Elevate K-12 Analytics release (December 19), the Student Scorecard Perspective has been improved to make it easier for users to access student perspective data. Additional updates are included.
Student Scorecard
The Student Scorecard Perspective experience is improved with interactive data widgets that allow users to more easily observe and track various student activities.
The student scorecard displays the student's name, grade, school, and special programs. It also displays at-a-glance recent data for key metrics in Data Widgets. Additional student information is displayed by clicking the Show Additional Info link.
Data area widgets display important Metric Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in the areas of attendance, behavior, passing grades, and on-time attendance. Each widget displays the metric area, the metric label (if configured), the student's overall performance for the metric, the metric name, and the time period covered by the data.
Sections of a scorecard display data for key areas such as enrollment, attendance, watchlist, etc. Each section displays the key area name, year-over-year data, and performance labels (if configured by an administrator).
The Share menu allows users to save the perspective as a PDF file, print the perspective, or email the perspective as an attachment. Additionally, by clicking the Quick Access icon, users can add the scorecard from the Perspectives page to the Quick Access folder.
Canvas Users Dashboard
Two new dashboards and over a dozen new charts are available for Canvas users. To enable these dashboards, a system administrator must synchronize updates in the Library settings and add these dashboards to all applicable user roles.
Filter and Categorization Group
Canvas data can be organized by Academic Week, calculated using the School Calendar in the SIS. This update allows a unique perspective for identifying longitudinal trends and anomalies.
Quick Access
The Favorites folder on the Perspectives page is now called Quick Access.
