Canvas deploys contain code changes that are intended to fix bugs, improve performance, and prepare for new features. These deploys take place every two weeks and can be tested in the beta environment before the production deploy date indicated in the title of this document.

Summary
When launching an LTI 1.3 tool from Canvas, Canvas determines if the resources could be associated with an LTI 1.1 tool. If one is found, Canvas includes the oauth_consumer_key and oauth_consumer_key_sign in the launch as part of the LTI 1.1 claims section.
Change Benefit
This update helps LTI providers migrate users from their 1.1 to 1.3 tools.

In Account and Course Settings, the Add Apps modal coding is updated to InstUI TextInput which updates the user interface display and provides accessibility for Screen Reader and Keyboard-only users.

This update utilizes InstUI, Instructure’s internal design language, to provide improved accessibility and quality experiences.

Screen Reader and Keyboard-only users have improved accessibility of the Add App modal. Also, there are some display enhancements.
When adding an app by URL, an example displays inside the Config URL field.
