When using Canvas for Elementary on the Canvas App on iPads there is a color overlay on the banner of the course home page. This overlay cannot be removed except by turning off Homeroom view which is one of the features that is so appealing to elementary teachers.
I would like to see this cover overlay removed without having to turn off Homeroom View on the App. The Homeroom view is very helpful to elementary students and simplifies the view for students and families. However, teachers would like to add a banner at the top of their Home Page that is different from the course card image. When adding that banner there is a color overlay that mutes the image which is very undesirable.
