Leadership/ Management Competency was met during the leadership course. I have met the competency while completing the QI project which addressed enhancing interdisciplinary communication in acute care settings and explained how communication is important in acute care settings and we discussed ways to improve this problem. This relates to leadership and management because all are involved in patient care, so it is important to have proper communication to charge nurses, physicians, pharmacy, other nurses, PT/OT, patients, and their families to give proper management of care.
