First time user here.  I can login to my dashboard, but not the course I'm supposed to be taking. Why?

Hi  @misnera  and a very big welcome to the Canvas Community!  The reason that you are most likely able to log into your Dashboard is that you have a Canvas account.  Anyone who has a Canvas account can log in and see the Dashboard.  However, the reason that you are not able to login to the course you are taking is either because you are not enrolled (which hopefully is not the case), or you are enrolled however you do not have access to the course yet.  When does the course start?  Some schools allow their students to have early access to a course (before the term actually begins), while others do not allow students access until the official first day of the course.  Hope that helps.  Please reply if you have any other questions.
